Well... I think when you listen the name "Singapore" this is the one thing that you keep in mind: Big trees rolled with beautiful lights in a beautiful big garden. They are located next to Marina Reservoir, and is the home to 18 of these massive, tree-shaped vertical
gardens known as Supertrees, as well as a vast array of plant life from
around the world. But this isn’t your typical garden—Gardens by the Bay
aims to educate and also entertain with the whimsical features you’ll
notice strolling from one garden or conservatory to the next.
You have many atractions inside:
The flower dome - Covering 1.28 hectares, this verdant space is the larger of three cooled
conservatories, and broke the Guinness World Record as the World’s
Largest Glass Greenhouse in 2015. It is home to plants and flowers from
five continents, from thousand-year old olive trees to magnolias and
orchids;
TheFloral Fantasy - Each of its four distinct zones taking inspiration from fairy tales and
the storied Hanging Gardens of Babylon, with cavernous spaces, dramatic
driftwood sculptures and works of floral art;
The Cloud Forest - a 35-metre tall structure veiled in mist and covered in lush vegetation from the tropical hightlands.
The Supertree Grove - When dusk falls, the grove lights up with the Garden Rhapsody, a
spectacle of light and sound. You can go to the top of the Supertree Observatory, a 50-metre-high
observation deck with a beautiful view of the Marina Bay district.
How to visit:
From the Marina Bay Sands, walk across the overhead bridge (Lions Bridge) located at Marina Bay
Sands Hotel (open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.), or take the
underground linkway via Bayfront MRT Station (Exit B).
The garden itself is free but you need to pay if you want to see the atractions inside (around $28). To go there I would always reccomend the open hour because it's a really touristic place and you don't want people to stand in your pictures, right?
You will probably need 2h30 hours to see everything if you go in every atraction, and they are open 9am-9pm.
